Rev. Jen Cassady, MASC

Rev. Jen Cassady is a multi-religious chaplain and pastoral counselor with extensive experience providing spiritual care through major transitions. She currently works in hospice and also offers pastoral counseling, officiates weddings, leads memorial services, and is a birth doula. Passionate about justice, countering oppression, and creating compassionate community, Jen has provided case management, advocacy, group leadership, non-profit growth, and community educational workshops. Seeing herself as a keeper of the sacred amidst the common place, Jen takes a strengths-focused relationship-based approach. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Reno, Nevada, her Master of Arts in Social Change from Starr King School for the Ministry in Berkeley, CA, and ordained with Dare to Bless the Love. Jennifer cherishes her time playing with and learning from her three children and her grandchild. With her ministry she hopes to create a more just and sustainable life for all of our neighbors.
